Americore service day at KC Library

For the second year, the Kansas City Library hosted the MLK Service Day for Americore VISTA members to sort, organize, and package toiletries to distribute to organizations in need. Along with providing a professional headshot to each service member as a token of gratitude , I documented some of the moments from the day. What an inspiring project!

Remodel Moore, Moody KCMO kitchen

I was delighted to photograph another Remodel Moore project in KCMO. The kitchen had been taken down to the studs, and major elements rearranged in a way that made it functional and inviting, with plenty of storage options. The materials and color palette selections, by designer Traci Feuerbach, set a timeless tone. Ribbon black, wood-look porcelain wall tile from TileBar, paired with lighter stained, grain matched cabinets (by Crown Cabinetry) and brass finishes matched the character of this older house. During the photoshoot, a handful of the proud craftsman involved stopped by to see the completed work. In addition to the kitchen, a half-bath and full-bath were also updated. Thank you so much for allowing me to capture this space.

De La Cruz, Family Photos

The past few years, I’ve been focusing my photography on Interior & Exterior living spaces and editorial-style photos that I forgot how enjoyable it can be to spend time with a family to update their family photos. The De La Cruz’s were the perfect intro back into that world. What a beautiful family.  It really makes you consider the passage of time and change when you see children at a certain age and know that each stage is fleeting. Thank you, Viki and David, for prioritizing this special documentation! :)
